Bathroom Remodeling

A bathroom remodel is what you call when the shower is leaking behind the tile, the vanity is decades old, or you simply want a space that works better for your morning routine. You are living with a room that feels cramped, outdated, or worn, and you need someone to tear it out and put it back together right. The situation is messy, disruptive, and you want it done without surprises.

We start by isolating the water and electricity, then demo the old tile, fixtures, and drywall carefully to avoid damaging the subfloor or plumbing stack. New plumbing rough-ins are set in the walls, the floor is leveled, and waterproofing membrane is applied in the shower area. We set tile with a notched trowel, check for lippage with a straightedge, and grout after 24 hours. Fixtures, vanity, lighting, and trim go in last, with a full pressure test on the supply lines.

The biggest factor is whether you are keeping the same footprint or moving walls and drains. Moving a toilet or shower drain means cutting into the slab or joists, which adds time. Tile size and type matter: large-format tile goes faster but requires a perfectly flat substrate, while small mosaic takes longer to set and grout. Access to the work area—narrow hallways, stairs, or second-floor bathrooms—slows material hauling and debris removal. Material availability and back-ordered fixtures can stretch the timeline.

On the day we start, we lay down ram board and plastic sheeting from the front door to the bathroom. We run a HEPA air scrubber and seal the doorway with a zipper door. At the end of each day, we sweep and bag debris. Before we arrive, you should clear the bathroom of personal items, toiletries, and anything fragile. After we finish, you will need to wait 24–48 hours before using the shower so the grout and sealant fully cure. We leave the space clean and ready for use.
